27 October 2010 One Comment

Part I is now in the books, and the Washington Junior players hold a 1 point in the lead for the perpetual trophy! The British Columbia kids will be coming to Bellingham Athletic Club November 6 for Part II. We would love to fill up those draws with every junior player in Washington, so come and join us! There are divisions for Boys and Girls from six to sixteen years old. Juniors play for individual awards as well as playing for points for the state team.

Here is how the Washington players fared in Part I:

Boys 14/16: Jake Birnel took 3rd, and will be looking to improve that finish on Nov. 6.

Boys 12: Jake Birnel took 1st. He’s getting ready for Worlds!

Boys 10: Ryan Holz claimed 2nd, with Jordan Birnel looking strong in 3rd.

Boys 8: Nick Birnel played hard to take 1st place.

Girls 16: Madeline Butler came through with a great 1st place finish.

Girls 14: Hollie Scott has improved by leaps and bounds and finished 1st this time.

Girls 6: Sydney Penders of Puyallup claimed 1st place and will be back in November.
