The WRA Board is proud to announce that it is hosting the 2025 Washington State Championships on January 24-26th, 2025. We have selected the prestigious Washington Athletic Club in downtown Seattle as our venue this year. Normally, the board offers a separate State Singles tournament and State Doubles tournament. We have combined these 2 tournaments again this year at the request of members who cannot get away for many multi-day events.
If you go to the R2Sports link below, there is a list of 14 highlights regarding this specific tournament that will answer the most common questions that we have been receiving.
- Divisions – We are offering participants the opportunity to play in as many as 3 divisions. No more than 2 doubles divisions will be permitted. You may enter only one skill division and one age/skill division in singles play. You may enter mixed doubles as a second doubles division.
- Hotel – For those who wish to stay at the WAC on Friday and/or Saturday nights, there is a tournament rate of $174 if booked by the 25th of December. After the group discount deadline, prices mayl rise by $20 to $50 depending on the room type and availability. Room rates DO NOT include free parking at the WAC garage.
- Sponsors – We are still welcoming potential sponsors and their information will be added to the tournament website in the near future. This includes potential sponsors to open up the show/stadium court. Contact Micah Miller, Director of Media if you are interested in being a show court sponsor for this event.
