Welcome to the many ladies receiving this for the first time J We are VERY excited to have you participating in Women’s Racquetball!! Things are starting to slow down for the official racquetball season, but there are still events to choose from in the next few months. Take a quick read and see if anything interests you!
If there is anything missing we apologize, we try very hard to keep track of happenings all over the state. Please send any new happenings you are aware of to Angela31372@aol.com and I will put it in next months newsletter.
WRA BBQ July 24th from 11am-4pm at West Fenwick Park in Kent (address below):
The Washington Racquetball Association (WRA) hosts a BBQ every year to honor racquetball players in Washington. There are tennis courts which several members use for Pickle Ball and amazing food! If you are a WRA member come on out, members can bring a non-member to this event. The address is: 3824 Reith Rd in Kent
Summer Play Days:
Beth Neff is hosting a Play Day on Saturday, June 26th from 10am-3pm in Puyallup at COMPETITIVE EDGE-The Old Ballys by the mall. RSVP to Beth Neff at: firstname.lastname@example.org
For those of you that have not attended one, they are a great way to meet other women players of different levels of play in a very relaxed setting. There is no cost to play, we encourage donations of $5-$10 to our WPRO fundraising, but we do not accept donations from first timers.
We generally have extra racquets to lend out so bring a friend and a snack to share! If you know you can be there please contact the event host.
